The route begins with a walk along the “Indian Ecological Trail”, a trail that takes us to the Canoeing Base located on the banks of the Iguaçu River. The entire path is accompanied by a lot of information about the Atlantic Forest and the local biome, history and culture.

Arriving at the Canoeing Base is where the instructions take place and the safety equipment is placed. After everything prepared, we embarked for a paddle, heading to the Tamanduá River, a light and very relaxing canoeing activity. The region's lush landscape provides magical moments of contact with nature

At the Tamanduá River we disembarked and walked along the trail to Cachoeira da Toca. After contemplating and bathing in the waterfalls, we returned to the kayaks and paddled back to the base.

In the last part of the tour, we contemplated Juruvá Waterfall, and then we followed the trail

Incredible tour, in total contact with nature. We had no idea that this tour existed, but it was by far the best of the entire trip!
It totally escapes that standard of plastered ecotourism offered in the region (which are not bad, but...).
It all starts with a nice hike to reach the Iguaçu River, where you take a kayak or SUP ride of about 1 km upstream, until you reach a waterfall. The look on every route is stunning and all the equipment is very safe and stable. Even those who have never paddled will not experience great difficulties.
Then, returning to the starting point in Rio, another trail (full of monkeys) is made, a little more closed, but still very quiet, to another waterfall, this time in the woods. The water is strong, but it's worth the bath!!!
The entire tour took about 3 hours and a cool tip is to wear bathing suits and bring a towel and dry clothes if you want to do something else later
Super tour to do in Foz! Something different from the basic and super fun. Light hiking, guides are all very cool, canoeing and closing in a waterfall. Super recommended!

Great experience for those who like adventure tourism. Trekking through the Atlantic Forest and canoeing round trip from the Iguazu River. Unparalleled experience. It's worth it! I recommend. But you have to be physically prepared because it's not a mild level. I loved it!
